From London
Trains to Tonbridge from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge depart approximately every 20 minutes. The journey time is about 45 minutes.

From elsewhere:
Tonbridge is also easily accessible from Gatwick Airport (change at Redhill); there are direct lines from Ashford International, Folkestone and Dover; from Canterbury and Ramsgate; from Battle, St Leonards and Hastings; and from Redhill, Reigate, Guildford and Reading.

There are normally plenty of taxis waiting at Tonbridge Station or you can call Castle Cars on 01732 363637. The journey from Tonbridge Station to All Saints’ Church, Tudeley takes 5-10 minutes. Or you can take a scenic two & a half mile walk (see below).

You can walk from Tonbridge Station to Tudeley: it's about two and a half miles.

Download: Capel Rangers Walk Tonbridge to Tudeley.
(We have had feedback that this walk is not easy to follow so you may prefer to use the walk below).

An alternative walk uses the maps available on The Poacher and Partridge website:
  • From the railway station walk into Tonbridge High Street and then turn right just before the BIG bridge by the castle down Medway Wharf Road.
  • Follow the footpath alongside the river past Town Lock until you reach Tonbridge Bypass, A26.
  • From here you can use Map no 9,"Medway Valley Long Walk" on The Poacher & Partridge website. You will be at the pink road on the map where the route turns back on itself.  You can choose to either follow the route in reverse via nos 3,2,1 or continue the route via numbers 4,5,6 to reach The Poacher & Partridge depending on the length of walk you would like.
  • From the Poacher & Partridge, use Map no 1 "The Little Church Walk" to reach All Saints' Tudeley, only a further half a mile/10 minutes walk up the road.

Autocar run a limited 205 service from Tonbridge to Paddock Wood & Kings Hill which stops at All Saints' Church, Tudeley.
Start your journey from Tonbridge Quarry Hill Parade Bus Stop J2. For your "inbound" journey to the church the bus stop you require is Hartlake adj Five Oak Green Road.  For your "outbound" journey back to Tonbridge Train station the bus stop is opposite the lane to the church.  Exit the bus in Tonbridge at the bus stop outside Lidl supermarket for Tonbridge train station.
Please note the very limited timetable on a Saturday. There is no service on a Sunday.
