Visiting All Saints' Church
All Saints' Church, Tudeley, Tonbridge TN11 0NZ.
You are most welcome to visit the church which is open during daylight hours seven days a week all year round. Opening times.
All Saints’ Tudeley has been a place of Christian worship for over a thousand years and remains our parish church, so we ask visitors to respect that it is a place where people come to pray, meditate or simply sit with God.
Many find the church a very peaceful place.
NEW YEAR – NEW ROOF
January - March 2017
All Building Work now completed and Scaffolding will have been completely removed by 29th March 2017
All Saints Church, Tudeley has received a significant grant from the Listed Places of Worship Roof Fund, a generous donation from the Wolfson Foundation, managed through ChurchCare, alongside generous donations from members of our congregation, local residents and visitors. Thank you all. We will now be able to re-roof the church, to ensure that it remains weather tight and attractive for many years to come. The work will include the replacement of all the roofing slates, insulation of the roof and replacement of rainwater guttering.
Work started in the first week of 2017 and good progress has been made with the work due finish & the scaffolding removed by the end of March.
Until then, the church will be protected by a temporary roof, with transparent screens over the stained glass. The church and its car park will remain open as usual and we will continue to welcome visitors. There is hoarding around the outside of the church which slightly reduces the amount of natural light entering the church. We expect that there will be little or no interference to normal road access, that the Chagall windows will continue to shine brightly, and that any noise will be minimal.
Please take extra care on entering the church during these works.
