Parish life at Tudeley cum Capel with Five Oak Green

Parade service Our main Sunday service is usually at 10am, either at All Saints, Tudeley or at Five Oak Green United Church (and quarterly at St Thomas à Becket, Capel).  The details are published in the calendar, in the parish magazine, on the noticeboard in the porch at All Saints, Tudeley, and in the local (Paddock Wood) edition of the Kent and Sussex Courier.  From time to time we hold a service designed to appeal to people of all ages, at 11am, followed by a bring-and-share parish lunch: newcomers are most welcome.

Evening Prayer (BCP 1662, sung by the congregation) is normally held at All Saints, Tudeley on the 3rd Sunday of the month: at 4pm in the winter (during GMT) and at 6pm in summer (during BST). Other evening services (e.g. Taizé) are held occasionally.

The parish offers an Alpha course for those wishing to learn about the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere.  There are study and fellowship groups for men and women, as well as a monthly breakfast prayer meeting on Saturdays.

A thriving monthly parish magazine is produced jointly on a church and community basis.

There is a lively Sunday Club for children every Sunday morning (except for Family Services).  The uniformed organisations meeting in Five Oak Green village (Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers and Cub Scouts) take part in regular parade services.   We also run a popular children's holiday club for a few days during August.
