Art and music

As well as our famous connection with Marc Chagall, the parish is the focus for much artistic endeavour.

Frances Hawkens Triptych

The exquisite triptych by Frances Hawken; it hangs in Five Oak Green United Church. For more of Frances' work in the parish, click here.

Concerts
The Tudeley Festival
was originally established in 1985, to raise funds to install a new organ at All Saints and for other good causes. It has maintained a high standard ever since, specialising in authentic period performance. Many of its concerts are held in All Saints'.

Other concerts are held at Tudeley by visiting musicians and choirs

Putting on a concert or making a recording at Tudeley
All Saints' Tudeley is an attractive, intimate venue for concerts; it has a fine acoustic, well suited to choral and chamber music, and seats an audience of up to 100 people.
The adjoining Dr Arnold Cooke Hall provides toilets and refreshment facilities; it can also be used as a recording studio (professional multi-core audio cable is installed between church and hall).
There is a modern pipe organ (single manual plus pedals), as well as a grand piano. The Tudeley Festival has a harpsichord, a fortepiano and a portable chamber organ, which may be available for hire.
If you would like to perform or record at All Saints', please

Visual arts
Amongst the congregation we are fortunate to have some very talented creative people. You will see their work in and around our three churches, including some by talented local artist Frances Hawken, such as the labyrinth, and Five Oak Green's triptych.

Many of the photographs on these pages are the work of Peter Tulloch, ARPS DAPGB. Visit his website to see many beautiful photographs of All Saints' Tudeley - and much else.

From time to time exhibitions of work occur at All Saints' Tudeley or St Thomas à Becket, Capel. For more details, go to the calendar.
